2018 election season was nothing but bad news for conservatives. From the YUGE Democrat victory in the House to the rise of Trumpservatives within the former party of Reagan, conservative values were effectively destroyed.
Conservatism wasn’t the only casualty, however. With no Republican resistance standing in their way, the Democratic Socialists of America scored major victories at the state and federal levels as they advanced the ideals of Marx, Stalin, and Mao.
While it’s become a game of sorts in some circles to ridicule this movement, victories by believers in socialism are successfully steering the Democrat’s agenda. Even before officially taking the reins of power, Nancy Pelosi has already committed to advancing a host of Democratic Socialist priorities.
One of the faces of this new base of the Democrat party is Representative-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a Democratic Socialist from New York, and the brainchild behind the effort to pass laws mandating 100% dependence on so-called green energy (Green New Deal). But global warming is small potatoes compared to Ocasio-Cortez’s long-term plans.
With the 2020 election season officially underway, Ocasio-Cortez is teaming up with the Justice Democrats organization to take out incumbent Democrats who fail to toe the Democratic Socialist line beginning with Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), the newly elected caucus chairman and the holder of the No. 5 House Democratic leadership position.
Ocasio-Cortez and Justice Democrats are targeting Jeffries because they believe he has been too friendly with corporations, a major violation of their anti-capitalist beliefs.
On their website graced with the image of Ocasio-Cortez and other Democratic Socialists, you’ll find the basic tenets of Justice Democrats:
- Medicare For All
- Free College
- Green New Deal
- Justice Reform
- Immigrant Rights
- Rejecting Corporate PAC Money
You’ll also find a host of other Marxist agenda items listed in their Platform For Justice on their website.
Ocasio-Cortez and Justice Democrats are also setting their sights on other areas of the country outside of New York. In Texas where Democrats won big at the state level and where Ted Cruz squeaked out a narrow victory over Beto O’Rourke — a potential 2020 presidential candidate — they will be targeting Rep. Henry Cuellar, a Blue Dog Democrat who has received endorsements from Club For Growth and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in the past.
While the success of Democratic Socialists’ efforts remains to be seen, Trump and the GOP won’t get in their way. And with socialism growing in acceptance by a majority of younger voters, conservatism won’t be the only casualty.
America will be destroyed too!
