At a rally yesterday, Ted Cruz was joined by Donald Trump and thousands of Americans to stand in opposition to Obama’s surrender to Iran in the nuclear deal with the terrorist nation. From the steps of our nation’s capitol, the Senator from TX called Obama and any member of Congress who votes to approve the nuclear agreement directly responsible for the murders that will be carried out thanks to the billions of dollars Iran will receive from lifted sanctions.
Even though Obama violated the law as spelled out in the disastrous Bob Corker (R-INO TN) bill, which surrendered the constitutional power of the Senate to approve treaties, the president is about to get the terrorist-funding bill approved after securing a sufficient number of treasonous Democrats to support it.
Meanwhile, a just-released Pew poll shows that nearly half of American disagrees with Obama, and dislikes the deal, while only 2 percent say they trust Tehran to uphold its end of the bargain. And it turns out that this sentiment isn’t without merit.
On the same day as the rally, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei stated in a series of social media postings that Israel ought to be prepared for total annihilation, as he vowed to completely devastate Israel by 2040, the Times of Israel reported.
The full text of Khamenei’s threat, which came from a speech he made earlier in the day, read in broken English:
“After negotiations, in Zionist regime they said they had no more concern about Iran for the next 25 years. I’d say: Firstly, you will not see the next 25 years. God willing, there will be nothing as Zionist regime by next 25 years. Secondly, until then, struggling, heroic and jihadi morale will leave no moment of serenity for Zionists.”
This isn’t the first time the Ayatollah has threatened Israel, or her allies for that matter. He’s frequently referred to America as the “Great Satan.” And in his comments this week, he doubled down on that label:
“We approved talks with the United States about [the] nuclear issue specifically. We have not allowed talks with the U. S. in fields and we [do] not negotiate with them.”
He also wrote on his website that further talks would prove “a tool for penetration and imposing demands.” And on his Twitter account he expanded on that view, writing how his predecessor, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, saw the “U.S. [as] the Great Satan.” He added that talks with America were a “means of infiltration and impositions of their wills.”
In other words… after Israel, we’re next!
