Biden’s domestic terrorism plan is next step to building a police state

Biden terrorism police state

Joe Biden recently unveiled his long-promised national strategy to counter the rise in so-called domestic terrorism — a plan that has little to do with fighting terrorism, and everything to do with building a police state.

Biden called for a comprehensive review shortly after taking office in January which led to the new policy.

“Domestic terrorism — driven by hate, bigotry and other forms of extremism — is a stain on the soul of America,” Biden said in a statement. “It goes against everything our country strives for, and it poses a direct challenge to our national security, democracy and unity.”

“Other forms of extremism” is far-left doublespeak for “militia.” And a militia only poses a “direct challenge” to big government, tyranny, and the unibrow.

In the March report provided by the intelligence community, it was determined that “white supremacists” and “militia groups” had become the greatest domestic terror threat. In other words, Biden is giving the same label to people who believe in small government and limiting its power as he gave racists and real terrorists:

“Today’s domestic terrorists espouse a range of violent ideological motivations, including racial or ethnic bigotry and hatred as well as anti-government or anti-authority sentiment.

“They also take on a variety of forms, from lone actors and small groups of informally aligned individuals, to networks exhorting and targeting violence toward specific communities, to violent self-proclaimed ‘militias’ who, despite legal prohibitions in all fifty states against certain private militia activity, assert a baseless right to take the law into their own hands.” (emphasis mine)

In his address to a Joint Session of Congress back in April, Biden made his police state ambitions known and used the report to blame the rise of terrorism in the United States on white Americans, not radical Islam. Specifically, Biden labeled “white supremacists” as the “most lethal terrorist threat” to the country after mentioning Al-Qaeda and other jihadist groups.

“Make no mistake – the terrorist threat has evolved beyond Afghanistan since 2001 and we will remain vigilant against threats to the United States, wherever they come from. Al Qaeda and ISIS are in Yemen, Syria, Somalia, and other places in Africa and the Middle East and beyond.

“And, we won’t ignore what our own intelligence agencies have determined – the most lethal terrorist threat to the homeland today is from white supremacist terrorism. (emphasis mine)

Blaming white Americans for domestic terrorism was the official policy of the man Biden used to work for when he was vice president — Barack Hussein Obama. And like Obama, Biden is using domestic terrorism to promote other parts of his former boss’ far-left agenda, such as creating a Gestapo-styled police state.

For the record, Donald Trump spent much of his presidency working to see Obama’s dream of a police state become a reality.

Biden’s National Strategy for Countering Domestic Terrorism will add thousands of prosecutors and other law enforcement officials to the government payroll. Biden is requesting $100 million to add key personnel in the departments of justice and homeland security.

Biden’s plan calls for Big Brother-styled monitoring of federal employees deemed an “inside threat” by the government, but federal employees won’t be the only ones he’ll be spying on. One of the main focuses of his plan is to improve the sharing of information across federal agencies to track domestic terrorism, a key failing that investigators say contributed to Trump’s Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.

One of the ways sharing of information will take place under Biden’s plan will be an increased focus on “open source” information, which the administration says will be achieved by “augmenting information sharing the government does with tech companies” — a partnership already in existence thanks to Section 215 of the PATRIOT Act — meaning more government tracking of your computer and hand-held devices.

Biden’s previous calls for new gun-control legislation also has a police state connection to his goal of targeting militias, as we read in the words of the Second Amendment:

“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed.”

Of course, the far-left will deny this connection, and they’ll attempt to twist the definition of the word “militia” into something more palatable to their agenda. But the Founding Fathers made their intentions in this regard quite clear:

“Whenever governments mean to invade the rights and liberties of the people, they always attempt to destroy the militia, in order to raise an army upon their ruins.”

~ Elbridge Gerry, Vice President under James Madison

“For a people who are free, and who mean to remain so, a well-organized and armed militia is their best security.”

~ Thomas Jefferson

“A militia when properly formed are in fact the people themselves… and include all men capable of bearing arms. . . To preserve liberty it is essential that the whole body of people always possess arms.”

~ Richard Henry Lee

“The great object is, that every man be armed…Every one who is able may have a gun.”

~ Patrick Henry

A “police state” is defined as: a totalitarian state or country in which a national police force, esp. a secret police, suppresses any act that conflicts with government policy. (Random House Kernerman Webster’s College Dictionary, 2010)

For those on the far-left (unfortunately, some so-called conservative as well) ready to dismiss my conclusions, even the ACLU can see where this is all heading.

“The Biden administration is rightly focused on addressing white supremacist violence, but its strategy includes none of the civil rights and liberties safeguards that rights groups and communities of color have long sought. Embracing civil rights and liberties as a national security imperative means little when this new strategy fails to rein in abusive counterterrorism tools that result in unfair and unjustified surveillance and targeting of Black and Brown people, particularly Muslims,” the American Civil Liberties Union said in a statement.

I disagree with the ACLU about it only impacting people of color because “unfair and unjustified surveillance and targeting” impacts everyone, but they’re still right about where things will end up.

Obama laid the foundation for building the police state. Donald Trump began building the police state. Joe Biden is ready to complete the police state.
