In this article from guest contributor Walter B. Hoye II, he exposes the hypocritical double-standard of those who cry for an end to gun violence while ignoring the silent cries of the murdered unborn of Black America.
UNION CITY, California, August 5, 2019 | TruthPR.Com | — According to the Violence Policy Center, a national nonprofit educational organization that conducts research on violence in America, there were 6,095 Black American homicides for the year 2014.
When you consider, that in the same year, Black Americans represented only thirteen percent of the population in the United States of America and yet accounted for fifty percent of all homicide victims, it’s clear, very clear, that the devastation homicide inflicts on Black American teens and adults is a national crisis that should be a top priority for parents, pastors and policy-makers to address.
It’s also clear, very clear, that abortion in Black America remains the number one cause of death in Black America.
According to the 2014 Guttmacher Institute’s Fact Sheet entitled: “Induced Abortion in the United States”, there were 259,336 Black Abortions in 2014. And when Black American homicides are set side by side to Black American abortions, the 259,336 abortions in Black America revealed a number forty-two times the number of Black American homicides.
Yeah, in 2014, abortion in Black America was forty-two times the number of Black American homicides in the same year. However, the numbers only get worse and worse. The 259,336 Black Abortions in 2014 equates to:
- 21,611 Black Abortions per month
- 4,987 Black Abortions per week
- 710 Black Abortions per day
- 29 Black Abortions per hour
- 1 Black Abortion every two minutes.
In other words, abortion in Black America takes more Black American lives in less than nine days than all the lives Black American homicide takes all year.
And still the data doesn’t let up.
The Violence Policy Center also reports, that of the 6,095 Black American homicide victims, 5,263, eighty-six percent were male (fathers or potential fathers), and fourteen percent (829) were female (mothers or potential mothers).
In other words, abortion in Black America kills more Black American males in less than eight days and kills more Black American females in less than two days than Black American homicide kills — regardless of gender — in 365 days.
Walter B. Hoye II, President of the Issues4Life Foundation and the subject of a new book entitled “Black and Pro-Life In America,” says: “When the Violence Policy Center reported that for homicides where the victim to offender relationship could be identified, seventy-two percent of Black American victims (1,966 out of 2,746) were killed by someone they knew, my heart broke. But I started crying when I realized that abortion kills one hundred percent of the lives of the baby boys and baby girls we will never get to know.”
The research data in the studies is clear … abortion is the number one cause of death in Black America.
Gravely distressed, Hoye asks the question: “Why didn’t we listen to Cecil Moore?”
In 1965, Cecil Moore, president of the of the local Philadelphia NAACP chapter said: “Planned Parenthood’s plan is replete with everything to help the Negroes commit race suicide.”
Professedly, Cecil Moore was prophetic.
Even so, please, come quickly Lord Jesus.
