It’s time for some Conservative Comedy at the Strident Conservative. As I do every Friday, I bring you some of the best Conservative political satire on the internet, sure to provide a good laugh to begin your weekend.
Barack Obama, known throughout the land as “the thriftiest president ever,” has shockingly declared that his new budget will “end the era of austerity” in our nation’s capital. Some critics have suggested that the president wasn’t exactly exercising “austerity” before his announcement, or at least that’s what we assume the critics were about to suggest when blood started spraying out of their ears just before their heads exploded.
Still, in an effort to prove that the president actually knows what the word “austerity” means, he has announced that even though he’ll be spending more money on everything that his “Spending Money Foolishly Czars” can think of, he is going to be drastically cutting back funding for our military. Which, as the Conservative Comic at Hope n’ Change tells us, might not be all that bad when you consider how many more of our troops will now be forced to go on foodstamps.
We have two reports from Jodi Miller at Newsbusted. Enjoy a good laugh at these and other stories.
