It’s Conservative Comedy time at the Strident Conservative. As I do every Friday, I bring you some of the best conservative political and religious comedy, jokes, and satire on the internet, sure to provide a good laugh to begin your weekend.
The Conservative Comic at Hope n’ Change reminds us: The news out of Baltimore is coming fast and furious, and pretty much all of it is enraging to anyone with an ounce of sanity. The most important news? It’s that the word “thug” has become the new “N” word.
Meanwhile, Freddie Gray’s autopsy results do not indicate that the police were to blame, but rather that his life-ending injuries were either self-inflicted or (possible but less likely) the secondary result of a seizure. That hasn’t stopped Maryland state attorney Marilyn J. Mosby from charging the officers with murder, manslaughter, and myriad other offenses, based on the accusation that the police failed to secure Gray with a seat belt during transport, and failed to render timely medical aid after he had requested it.
Jodi Miller at Newsbusted takes us into the weekend with these headlines: A new poll about Hillary Clinton’s honesty, a plan by the Hillary campaign to raise billions of dollars so she can get money out of politics, and Obama’s commitment to investigate the drone strike that killed two civilian hostages. Additional stories include: Obama’s plan for fake ID’s recently obtained in a bust at the Coachella Music Festival, the truth about Hillary Clinton’s ancestors, and Tim Tebow going to the Eagles. She wraps up her show with a story about Al Capone working at MSNBC if he was alive today.
The riots in Baltimore, MD serve as a reminder of just how far the black community is from Martin Luther King’s dream. Just after similar riots in Ferguson, MO., Steven Crowder did a parody of Dr. King speaking to the crowds there which could just as easily be about Baltimore. Check out this encore of Louder With Crowder.
Do you remember the hubbub around the discovery that Ben Affleck’s ancestors were slave owners and how he tried to have it covered up? AlfonZo Rachel explains why he will not let go of Ben Affleck’s links to slavery and Democratic politics.
