It’s time for some Conservative Comedy at the Strident Conservative. As I do every Friday, I bring you some of the best Conservative political satire on the internet, sure to provide a good laugh to begin your weekend.
The Conservative Comic at Hope n’ Change wants to know why the White House had to act super-duper fast to secure the Bergdahl/Terrorists swap without meeting the legal 30-day requirement to inform Congress? Supposedly, it was because they compared two videos (allegedly Charlie the Unicorn, and This Too Shall Pass) and came to the stunning conclusion that Bergdahl’s health was in rapid decline and immediate action was called for.
Oddly, they came to this conclusion in December, 2013 but didn’t do anything about it until, by wild coincidence, the VA scandal broke wide open and B. Hussein desperately needed to make a highly visible gesture of caring about members of the military. Based on these facts, it would appear that B. Hussein doesn’t really care all that much about Bergdahl, Bergdahl’s health, or the health of any member of our armed forces. He does care, as he has proven repeatedly, about his poll numbers and his popularity in the Muslim world.
It’s more likely that he thought this obscene prisoner swap would help him in both of these areas. He couldn’t possibly be more wrong.

Do you know what the Five Percent Nation is? Followers of this group have the belief that Black people are the fathers and mothers of civilization, white men are of the devil, the Christian God is nothing more than a ghost and only a small percentage of people truly understand the world. Recently the husband of Beyoncé, rapper Jay-Z, was spotted wearing a golden pendant around his neck while attending a Brooklyn Nets game. It turned out to be an eight-point star with the number 7 in the middle – a symbol that represents the group commonly known as The Five Percenters.
Check out our friends at Insanity Island and their animated interview with Jay-Z as he tries to clarify why he wears it.
And finally, AlfonZo Rachel exposes the weaknesses of Common Core by comparing it to karate training. A good martial arts instructor teaches simplification, not a bunch of complicated processes. It takes much training—the right training—which isn’t about remembering a bunch of frivolous processes that lead to arbitrary technique that lacks integrity. That may cut it in the safety of a classroom, but in the real world, the student trained in memorization instead of adaptation, application, and efficiency is going to be in trouble. Common Core is corrosive to Common Sense.
