It’s time for some Conservative Comedy at the Strident Conservative. As I do every Friday, I bring you some of the best conservative political comedy, jokes, and satire on the internet, sure to provide a good laugh to begin your weekend.
One of the very few good things about having Barack Obama continually committing the same offenses over the years is that Hope n’ Change can occasionally recycle old cartoons (in the case below, from 2009). And what better time to do so than when the president has declared that, in observance of “the fierce urgency of now,” he’s committing to an all-out multi-million dollar surge of kinetic leisure in Martha’s Vineyard for the umpteenth time.
The Obama family will enjoy a 16-day luxury vacation, staying at a $12 million dollar estate where they can relax and contemplate the appalling evils of income inequality. And what better place than an exclusive, well-fortified gated community to reflect on the folly of securing our nation’s borders? While you might think this is a bad thing, the Conservative Comic at Hope n’ Change enthusiastically endorses anything that keeps the president away from the oval office for a while, whether it’s golfing with his unimaginably rich friends or dodging shrapnel as his wife rips into lobsters with her bare hands at a 5-star restaurant.
Jodi Miller at Newsbusted provides plenty of laughs this week on several news stories, including: the seven trillion dollars added to the national debt under Obama, impeachment rumors within the Democrat party, and a security breach within the PF Changs restaurant chain. Additional stories covered include: how Jewish voters are leaving the Obama camp, the San Antonio Spurs’ hiring of a female coach, and Laura Ingraham’s possible run for political office. With the mid-term elections just a few months away, along with attempts by several states to pass voter ID laws, I thought it would be fun to take a look at a Ray Stevens video that gives us a good laugh about how his deceased grandfather voted Democrat. You may have heard how former Minnesota governor and failed actor Jesse Ventura displayed the ultimate of cowardice recently when he sued the wife of Navy Seal, Chris Kyle, because he got his feelings hurt by something Kyle wrote in his book, American Sniper. AlfonZo Rachel has a problem with Ventura’s phony self-righteousness and gives us a great analysis of the man who would “toss dead puppies at widows.”
