Welcome to another edition of Conservative Comedy Friday where we wonder if ignorance is bliss, why aren’t Trump and the GOP a lot happier?

In the humiliating midterm election that Donald Trump called a “tremendous success” for the GOP, Democrats scored the biggest tally of seats in the House since Watergate. One of the states where Democrats really cleaned up was California where Republicans will now hold only seven of the Golden State’s 53 U.S. House seats.

Despite being a cornucopia of progressive left-wing politics, there are those who love the craziness of the Golden State and the city that’s so liberal it is not blue, it is indigo, Los Angeles. Randy Newman once sang about his love of LA, but Reason TV’s Remy has created a politically incorrect parody of Newman’s song that I’m sure will speak to your conservative heart.

Though considered the home of “Left Coast” politics, California is only one of the West Coast states leaning to the political left. Oregon and Washington also tend to vote indigo, and the Puget Sound region in Washington along with the Portland metropolitan area in Oregon are where you will find large concentrations of out-of-touch hipsters and snowflakes.

Trump’s war against the free press got a little out-of-control a few weeks ago when Emperor Trump suspended CNN reporter Jim Acosta’s White House press credentials only to have a federal judge order them restored after CNN took him to court. While there are those who side with Trump, the White House has become notorious for its treatment of the media.

In this video by Bad Lip Reading, we get a glimpse of how Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee-Sanders treats the media and why there’s bad blood between the them.
