Welcome to Conservative Comedy Friday! With budget betrayals and the never-ending circus we know as Washington politics, I figured we could use another round of comic relief.
For this edition I’m digging into the archives for some political oldies but goodies. Amazingly, these videos could just as easily be new releases because nothing really changes in Washington, especially in an election year. So sit back, relax, and get ready to laugh (to keep from crying) at the absurdity we know as politics.
Speaking of the budget betrayal, did you know that there’s a drug designed to help you deal with the pain and suffering of big government spending? Try Spenditol.
I shared this one with you a few months ago, but in light of the #MiniBusBetrayal by Trump and the GOP, I figured it would be an appropriate replay. One of my favorites for political song parodies is Remy at Reason TV, and in this parody done to the tune of “I Like it, I Love it” he hilariously reminds us of how the GOP’s budget disaster is just another broken promise.
Sometimes, watching Democrats and Republicans fight over America looks an awful lot like a divorced couple fighting over the custody of their child. In such cases, the parents are so insecure that they try pit the child against each other. In an election year, this concept is so believable that the sketch comedy team at Studio C produced this 2014 classic video of the USA in a custody battle between the Democrats and the Republicans.
Have a great weekend!
