Welcome to another edition of Conservative Comedy Friday where we’ve come to realize that instead of giving the keys of government to Republicans and Democrats, it might be better to change the locks.
Christmas is just around the corner, so we’re breaking out some of the favorites that would even cause Santa to belt out a “ho, ho, ho.”
Of course, even in this festive time of year the government provides us plenty to laugh at, so we’ll also include them in the hilarity.
During the holidays, many folks travel to visit friends and family. However, ever since the era of George W. Bush, traveling has become a textbook example of what happens when essential liberty is traded for temporary safety (H/T Ben Franklin) as our rights are routinely trampled underfoot by the Department of Homeland Security and the Transportation Security Administration.
As we see in this classic parody by Reason TV’s Remy, even Grandma isn’t safe from an overzealous TSA at Christmas time.
The legend of Santa Claus is hundreds of years old, but how much do we really know about Old Saint Nick? In this skit by the crew at Studio C, we see the lengths some kids will go to get the answers they want about the jolly old elf.
While it can be argued that Saturday Night Live isn’t what it used to be — although I do like it when they skewer Trump — there have been cast members in the past who have created some memorable bits.
In this classic, Adam Sandler drops by the Weekend Update desk to perform his holiday hit, The Hanukkah Song. “Instead of one day of presents, we have eight crazy nights!” [Season 20, 1994]
Have a great weekend!
