Courts say no but Senate RINOs say yes to illegal NSA spying

NSA - Only part of govt listeningA three-judge panel of the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan has ruled that the bulk collection of American’s phone records by the government exceeds the law under the Patriot Act.

And John McCain isn’t very happy about it.

The Gutless On Principles (GOP) Hall of Shame member is worried about the court ruling against the National Security Agency’s phone records collection program because he believes the United States is simply unable to function without the ability to “monitor communications.”

Monitor communications? If I’m not mistaken, I’m pretty sure that in the old days before the Patriot Act they called that spying.

“It is clear that 9/11 could have been prevented if we had known about the communications,” McCain told FOX News. “We have to have that capability.”

McCain admitted that the government “from time to time” has overstepped the line by invading the privacy rights of Americans — in other words they broke the law — but still called for “balance” between the rights of citizens and the “needs” of the government.

“We have to understand this threat, and people seem to have forgotten 9/11,” the RINO from Arizona said. “People don’t understand there are thousands of young people all over the world who are motivated by this radical brand of Islam, which is our enemy.”

While we’re on the subject of forgotten dates in September, here’s one that Johnny Boy and his big-government progressive buddies in Washington have clearly forgotten: September 17, 1787 — the day the Constitution was created.

McCain claims that NSA spying would have prevented 9/11, but that’s totally without merit. This is the same fear-peddling politics used by progressives looking to justify their attempt to take away our rights that we’ve witnessed for years.

If there was a poster child anywhere in Washington that proved the need for term limits, John McCain would be it. He’s out of touch, out of ideas, and usually out of his mind. I wish he would just leave the Constitution alone, or better yet, just leave. America would be a better place if he did.

That’s not going to happen though. Despite the ruling of the court, the will of the people, not to mention our constitutional rights, McCain is already teaming up with fellow Gutless On Principles (GOP) Hall of Shame member, Senator Mitch “Lyin’ Eyes” McConnell, to pass legislation that will keep NSA spying in place until 2020.
