COVID vaccine mandates for children: Tyranny takes its next step

Tyranny took another step toward the destruction of liberty with the announcement by the San Francisco Board of Health to mandate COVID vaccines for children in order for them to enter public places . . . including school.

This announcement follows yesterday’s decision by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to approve giving the COVID vaccine to children 5 to 11 years old — the same day that we also learned of Joe Biden’s plan to begin implementation of a vaccine mandate program for private sector businesses.

In the official press release announcing the news, CDC Director Rochelle Walensky could hardly contain her excitement:

“Together, with science leading the charge, we have taken another important step forward in our nation’s fight against the virus that causes COVID-19. We know millions of parents are eager to get their children vaccinated and with this decision, we now have recommended that about 28 million children receive a COVID-19 vaccine. As a mom, I encourage parents with questions to talk to their pediatrician, school nurse or local pharmacist to learn more about the vaccine and the importance of getting their children vaccinated.”

Despite being ridiculed as a fearmongering extremist — or worse, a Trumpist — I’ve been sharing news stories about Big Brother’s plan to vaccinate children with a warning about how the vaccine mandate agenda of Joe Biden and the far-left would be expanded to include children once a vaccine was approved.

While I’d be happier if I had been wrong — an impossibility since I’m “always right” — the San Francisco Department of Health held a Zoom meeting on the same day the CDC approved the COVID vaccine for children and announced plans to implement a vaccine mandate program for children 5 to 11 years old.

Additionally, children will be required to provide documented proof — vaccine passports anyone? — of being vaccinated before they will be allowed to enter public places:

San Francisco might not have to wait 8 weeks.

With the CDC approval a mere formality, Biden and crew have already been assembling and shipping millions of COVID-19 shots for children ages 5-11, the White House said Monday. The first doses could be in children’s arms in mere days with the full-blown vaccination drive going into full swing by next week.

In explaining the administrations “proactive” measures, COVID coordinator Jeff Zients said, “We are not waiting on the operations and logistics,” which is Washington doublespeak for “we’re going to what we want to do regardless of the legalities.”

Vaccine mandates are only part of the plan. In addition to providing proof of vaccination, San Francisco children will also be subject to mask mandates at most public venues even after vaccination. As explained on San Francisco’s government COVID page, “You cannot use a self-attestation of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test. You must have proof that you are vaccinated.” (emphasis mine)

How long will it be before we see Joe Biden mandate COVID vaccines for children? Based on Walensky’s past support of COVID tyranny, probably not as long as you think.

During an appearance on CNN back in July, Walensky expressed her support for mandating a COVID passport system in order to allow access to certain public venues. When the host asked her whether the CDC would consider implementing these European-style cards, which could provide admission to places like a disco, restaurant, or sporting event, she replied, “I think some communities are doing that and that may very well be a path forward.” (emphasis mine)

Can’t you just see it now? 5 to 11 year old children carrying their COVID passports so they can attend school, go to a restaurant with the family, or attend a public event? Just warms your heart, doesn’t it?

Before you accuse me of being hyperbolic for making a connection between vaccine mandates for children and vaccine passports, consider this statement by the CDC director when she was forced to defend her approval of vaccinating 5 to 11 year old children:

“There are children in second grade who have never experienced a normal school year … students in middle school who missed out on school sports and extracurricular activities.”

Missing in Walensky’s lament over our children’s lost years is the admission that the only reason it happened in the first place was because of the tyrannical actions of people like her boss who used the so-called pandemic as the perfect “never let a crisis go to waste” opportunity to continue the spread of tyranny begun in the days following 9/11.

I wonder how long it will be before Joe Biden issues a COVID vaccine mandate for 5 to 11 year old children nationwide. Based on his history since becoming president — and with the support of “experts” like Dr. Fauci — probably not long at all.
