Conservatives across America watched in dismay as Donald Trump secured the Republican nomination amid fierce conservative grassroots opposition at the Republican National Convention. A man who had, only a few years prior, openly supported partial birth abortion and funded the Gang of Eight as well as nearly every liberal Democrat in Congress, including Hillary Clinton.
It was clear very early on that he was seriously lacking in every moral respect and egregiously unfit to serve the most revered office in the world.
Conservatives feared that Trump’s brand of populism would undermine conservative principles. And our fears have been confirmed repeatedly.
With a trifecta of power in Washington, Trump has funded every single Obama era initiative including DACA and Refugee Resettlement — both of which were expanded to benefit the “asylum seekers” — he has continued and increased funding to Planned Parenthood by $20.1 million dollars resulting in the largest number of baby murders since 2011 and now funds murder on the delivery table in at least four states.
Not only did Trump and his GOP fail to repeal Obamacare, they codified it into law and have continued funding every facet of Obama’s government controlled healthcare and its subsidies. He has grown our national debt, deficit spending and unfunded liabilities at a higher and faster rate than Obama and he has introduced even more big government, socialist programs that promise the feds more power and further enslave the American taxpayer.
Trump’s Bernie-styled protectionist trade policies have given us the largest trade deficit in the 243 year history of America. And his unconstitutional executive order on bump stocks coupled with his codification of Diane Feinstein’s FIX NICS anti-gun law have produced the most anti-2A administration in decades. Once the red flag laws he fully endorses are implemented, it will be the most anti-2A administration EVER.
Meanwhile, illegal immigration is at a 12 year high because he refuses to enforce our existing immigration laws.
The uber-left has taken advantage of his failure to enforce existing law, and they now want to give illegal immigrants — who never should have been allowed to enter our southern border in the first place — the right to vote.
The two justices he appointed to SCOTUS (Gorsuch and Kavanaugh) have ruled with the liberal-wing of the Court more often than not on issues that will undoubtedly clear the Far-Left’s path to full-blown socialism in America. In addition to their anti-Fourth Amendment history before joining SCOTUS, they have ruled against Life and supported laws favoring illegal immigration.
Our economy is failing rapidly, and it doesn’t take a genius to see that the administration is a master manipulator of jobs and wages numbers. Fourth quarter GDP growth was just adjusted down to 1.5%, workforce participation remains at record lows, and job creation fell from a projected 180,000 in February to just 20,000 jobs.
And let’s not forget about threats to the First Amendment and his unconstitutional, egregious abuses of executive power.
If you are one of the Republicans who joined the millions of Democrats to elect Trump, your reaction to the past two years should be, “Oh my Gosh, what have we done?” If his progressive liberal tendencies weren’t enough to deter you, his deficiencies in moral character should’ve been. Donald Trump, in a logical world, fails the litmus test for conservative voters across the board.
Before you assume that Never Trump is dead, ask yourself, “Does it make sense to ignore the truth and resort to calling genuine, uncompromising conservatives ‘liberals’ for fiercely opposing the same far-left agenda I opposed under the Obama administration? Or am I just that easily manipulated by fast talking politicians with bloody hands and big lies?”
