When coronavirus hysteria first began making headlines last month, I wondered if the so-called pandemic would be the pièce de résistance of the GOP’s nationalist socialist agenda and how it could be used as an excuse to spend trillions of dollars to finance a big government agenda. Unfortunately, I didn’t have to wait long for the answer.
COVID-19 has been used to rationalize the creation of new entitlements, to explode the national debt, to give convicts a get-out-of-jail-free card, and advance other aspects of the socialist dream.
As you most likely already know, following a brief period of playing the political blame game where they tried to out-socialism each other, Republicans and Democrats joined forces to create the largest redistribute-the-wealth stimulus bill in history with the $2.2 trillion Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act.
Though decorated with a $1200 bow to make it prettier for taxpayers, the CARES Act is a poorly wrapped and ugly package of bailouts, tax breaks, and kickbacks for big money donors and special interests that does little to help the victims of the economic crisis created by our “representatives.”
But fixing the problem they created isn’t really their objective. The goal of the CARES Act and other stimulus/bailout legislation is the spread of big government socialism. And in the spirit of never letting a crisis go to waste, Trump and his socialist cohorts in both parties are making plans to do much more.
Immediately after passing the CARES Act, discussion began on another $2 trillion stimulus package to finance so-called infrastructure improvements. Trump negotiated with Democrat leaders Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi last year to “get something done on infrastructure in a big way,” and coronavirus hysteria created the perfect environment to help them reach their goal.
With interest rates for the United States being at ZERO, this is the time to do our decades long awaited Infrastructure Bill. It should be VERY BIG & BOLD, Two Trillion Dollars, and be focused solely on jobs and rebuilding the once great infrastructure of our Country! Phase 4

Of course, infrastructure has become an all-encompassing word used to cover the real objective of advancing a plethora of socialist priorities — for example, global warming legislation — but that’s secondary to addressing the coronavirus “crisis.”
Now we are receiving word from Chuck Schumer that there will “definitely” be a need for a FOURTH coronavirus bill because previous legislation has left a lot of needs unmet. And, of course, it needs to be BIG.
“Look, I believe we are going to definitely need to do a COVID four. There are many needs that are unmet. And the problem may be of greater magnitude than people thought a few weeks ago.
“All I can tell you is I think we are definitely going to need a COVID four and I think it’s going to have to be big and bold because the problem is so huge.”
Mitch McConnell has been in discussions with Democrats about the need for a fourth stimulus bill, but he claims he won’t be “rushing” to create it. However, in an Associated Press interview this past Friday, he admitted that another bill is needed to fix the mistakes contained in the previous stimulus.
“There will be a next measure. [It] should be more a targeted response to what we got wrong and what we didn’t do enough for — and at the top of the list there would have to be the health care part of it.”
Health care? Isn’t that another part of the Far-Left agenda?
For the Trumpists and cultists who want to blame McConnell and other Republicans in Congress for this one if it happens, here’s an inconvenient truth for you to gnaw on: Trump promised last year to make the Republican Party “the party of healthcare,” and he recently proposed a Medicare-For-All-inspired solution to help the uninsured with coronavirus medical expenses.
Trump and the GOP are joining Democrats in the assault on liberty. And it looks like the coronavirus could be the thing that helps them cross the finish line in the race toward tyranny.
