One year ago, the Georgia legislature passed a bill containing fake protection for the religious liberties of Christian-owned businesses facing an onslaught of pro-LGBT attacks by the Gay Mafia over the same-sex marriage issue. Weak as it was, the bill was vetoed by the RINO coward governor, Nathan Deal. The reason given for Deal’s cowardly veto was that the bill discriminated against LGBT individuals—a pathetic excuse for justifying what amounted to discrimination against Christian business owners. In reality, he caved to political correctness and the interest of big businesses, such as the NFL and Disney.
Well, the death of religious liberty in Georgia continues, and this time there will be collateral damage—children needing adoption.
Recently, the Republican-controlled Georgia legislature began advancing a plan to improve adoption services and adoption rates in the state. Included in the legislation was a proposal by one of the supporters of the measure protecting the religious rights of Christian and Catholic adoption agencies. This protection meant that these agencies would not be forced to surrender the tenets of their faith in order to find homes for children needing adoption.
Right on cue, the Gay Mafia sprang into action, and The Three Stooges of the GOP leadership in the state of Georgia—Governor Nathan Deal, Speaker David Ralston, and Senate Majority Leader Bill Cowsert—rushed to condemn the measure.
As time goes on, the words of Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito in the Obergefell v. Hodges same-sex marriage ruling are ringing true:
“I assume that those who cling to old beliefs will be able to whisper their thoughts in the recesses of their homes, but if they repeat those views in public, they will risk being labeled as bigots and treated as such by governments, employers, and schools.”
And the words of Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts are also proving to be prophetic:
“Many good and decent people oppose same-sex marriage as a tenet of their faith, and their freedom to exercise religion is—unlike the right imagined by the majority—actually spelled out in the Constitution.”
Our constitutionally protected freedom of religion is being annihilated by LGBT radicals and the Gay Mafia, along with some help from cowards like the Republicans in Georgia. And if things don’t change, the next generation will be destroyed as well.
