Believe it or not, we are only 18 months away from the 2016 presidential election — assuming that Obama doesn’t issue an Executive Order declaring himself king and cancel it — and the electorate is beginning to see just how little the Washington establishment has to offer from the so-called front-runners in both parties.
According to a just released George Washington University Battleground Poll, Americans aren’t all that excited with the potential 2016 presidential candidates, especially Gutless On Principles (GOP) Hall of Shame member Jeb Bush and Vice President Joe Biden.
Overall, the poll found voters pretty unexcited about the current crop of Democrat and Republican candidates based on favorable/unfavorable ratings. An analysis of the poll showed that “Hillary Clinton has the highest favorable (48%) and unfavorable (49%) ratings, with Jeb Bush being the only other person to make it into the forties at 35% favorable and 48% unfavorable.
You read that correctly! Jeb Bush is less popular than Hillary Clinton!
But the news for Just Eliminate Borders Bush gets worse. The poll analysis also showed that: “Many of the candidates are already on a “would not consider” list, with Bush considered the most unacceptable (60% would not consider) and Joe Biden coming in second worst (59% would not consider).
You read that correctly! Jeb Bush is more unacceptable than Joe Biden!
Still, voters appear ready for change in Washington with 57% ready to vote for a candidate who “will be the most effective at getting things done in Washington” instead of one “whose views most closely match (their) own.”
Based on this last bit of poll data, I would like to make a suggestion to my fellow Conservatives. NOW is the perfect time to seize control of the message to the masses! NOW is the time to make it clear that we stand for a return to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness mentioned in the Declaration of Independence! NOW is the time to lead the way on restoring constitutional rights to every American!
We don’t have to settle for the pre-ordained establishment candidates selected by the inside-the-beltway party machine in Washington and the media they control.
We can tell Karl Rove to take a hike, seize the reins of our own destiny, and change the direction of America. But we’re going to have to roll up our sleeves and get to work.
