Joe Biden endorses G20’s anti-free speech ‘disinformation’ declaration
When it comes to free speech, Joe Biden is always on the lookout for ways to advance his war on this God-given right, and with his endorsement of the G20 declaration endorsing censorship of “disinformation,” he took another step toward reaching his goal of wiping it out.
During the recent summit held in Bali, Indonesia, G20 Leaders signed a declaration calling for the censorship of so-called disinformation, and Joe Biden endorsed it by publishing it on the White House website. As is usually the case when it comes to dismantling liberty, this anti-free speech declaration is hidden in the fine print (via Reclaim The Net):
The G20 Bali Leaders’ Declaration mainly focused on climate change, including Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs). However, the leaders have linked SDGs with online censorship.
Section 24 of the declaration says there is a need to censor online disinformation.
“The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the transformation of the digital ecosystem and digital economy,” the section began. “We recognize the importance of digital transformation in reaching the SDGs.”
It adds that for there to be “trust in the digital economy,” they should “create an enabling, inclusive, open, fair and non-discriminatory digital economy that fosters the application of new technologies, allows businesses and entrepreneurs to thrive, and protects and empowers consumers.”
The G20 leaders believe there is a need to censor “false” information for digital infrastructure to thrive: “We acknowledge the importance to counter disinformation campaigns, cyber threats, online abuse, and ensuring security in connectivity infrastructure.” (Emphasis mine)
Biden’s endorsement of censoring ‘disinformation’ comes as no surprise. Earlier this year, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) launched the Misinformation and Disinformation Governance Board (MDGB), an agency many described as a Ministry of Truth straight out of George Orwell’s 1984 to deny the free speech rights of people critical of government.
DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas made the announcement during an appearance before Congress in response to a question concerning election security (via CNSNews.com):
“We have just established a mis- and disinformation governance board in the Department of Homeland Security to more effectively combat this threat not only to election security but to our homeland security.
“We are disseminating information to the secretaries of state. We are counseling them and providing resources to ensure better physical security.”
“We are addressing all aspects of election security given, of course, the midterm elections that are upon us and the fundamental integrity of our democratic processes that is at stake.” (Emphasis mine)
Biden and his DHS secretary took so much heat about the Misinformation/Disinformation Board that they pretended to cancel the idea, but as we learned just last month, they launched their defacto Ministry of Truth in secret.
For the record, Donald Trump and the Republican Party put things in motion when they passed the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency Act in 2018, forming a new wing of DHS “responsible for protecting the nation’s critical infrastructure from physical and cyber threats.”
Free speech isn’t the only aspect of liberty threatened by the G20 Declaration; the liberty-killing edict also requires the adoption of a global vaccine passport (via The Center Square):
Paragraph 23 of the declaration pertains to “facilitating seamless international travel” by pledging to commit to international dialogue and collaboration to establish a “trusted global digital health networks that should capitalize and build on the success of the existing standard and digital COVID-19 certificates.”
Not only is the G20 Declaration a threat to liberty and free speech, it’s also fundamental to establishing the New World Order. Joe Biden has called for America to lead the way in creating the New World Order, and none other than Klaus Schwab — chair of the World Economic Forum and architect of its “Great Reset” — was an attendee at the G20.
On the COVID and climate change connection to the New World Order, World Economic Forum (WEF) founder Klaus Schwab had this to say in his book COVID-19: The Great Reset addressing the question of when [post-COVID] life might return to normal:
“The short response is never. Nothing will ever return to the ‘broken’ sense of normalcy that prevailed prior to the crisis because the coronavirus pandemic marks a fundamental inflection point in our global trajectory” (Ibid. p. 13).
At the 2021 World Economic Forum, Schwab promoted the Great Reset as the answer to so-called climate change:
The program calls for “a new social contract” that is centered on racial equality, social justice, and the protection of nature. Climate change requires us “to decarbonize the economy” and to bring human thinking and behavior “into harmony with nature.”
Schwab’s New World Order ambitions received a big boost recently when the World Economic Forum signed an agreement with the United Nations to accelerate Agenda 2030, a system of total, worldwide centralized power influencing everything from governments to economies.
In Orwell’s dystopian vision of the future as described in 1984, the Ministry of Truth pretended to be dedicated to the pursuit of truth when, in fact, its primary function was to erase the truth of the past and present and replace it with the Party’s truth. This was accomplished through the use of doublespeak and Newspeak, languages used to ensure that everyone thought or said only what the Party wanted them to, making it impossible to betray the Party by thinking or expressing independent thoughts.
Our overlords in government have been pushing a liberty-killing agenda that bears a frightening resemblance to the world George Orwell described in his novel. Just like Big Brother, government has taken steps to control our thoughts, limit our speech, identify criminals before a crime is committed, and track us in public using facial recognition technology.
Joe Biden calls free speech “misinformation” and/or “disinformation” when it’s used to criticize the government, and with help from the New World Order agenda promoted by the G20 Declaration and the World Economic Forum, he could very well be on his way to victory in his war on liberty.
