Joe Biden is pressing on with private sector COVID vaccine mandates

Joe Biden is pressing on with plans to issue COVID vaccine mandates for private sector companies later this week with penalties up to and including termination for employees that refuse to comply — a move that in all likelihood will result in a new batch of lawsuits and court challenges.

Although, as we learned yesterday, even the Supreme Court can’t be counted on after Amy Coney Barrett and Brett Kavanaugh joined their progressive compadres to reject religious liberty in favor of COVID tyranny.

Perhaps inspired by the decision made by Trump’s “save the court” appointments in favor of COVID vaccine mandates, Joe Biden’s U.S. Department of Labor will publish its COVID vaccine mandate rule requiring private sector businesses with 100 or more employees to have all their workers either get vaccinated or get periodic testing for COVID-19 . . . or else (via Wall Street Journal):

President Biden’s vaccine mandate for private-sector businesses with 100 or more workers — and details on how the requirement will work — will likely be released later this week, according to people familiar with the matter. The government separately on Monday released guidance on the mandate for federal contractors, which has been a factor for many large companies imposing vaccination requirements.

The Office of Management and Budget on Monday completed its review of the regulation requiring workers at private-sector businesses with at least 100 employees to be vaccinated against Covid-19 or be regularly tested.

That review set the mandate up to be published on the Federal Register “in the coming days,” a U.S. Labor Department spokesperson said. The Labor Department’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration has been developing the vaccine mandate under a federal rule-making called an emergency temporary standard.

Employers who fall under the regulation must “develop, implement, and enforce a mandatory Covid-19 vaccination policy, unless they adopt a policy requiring employees to choose either to get vaccinated or to undergo regular Covid-19 testing and wear a face covering at work,” the Labor Department spokesperson said in a statement. (emphasis mine)

Employees who refuse to comply face disciplinary action, including possible termination. And companies that don’t comply face fines of up to $13,600 per violation, per the Journal.

Like most of the tyranny coming out of Washington, Biden’s mandate is seriously lacking in details. Think of it as an executive branch version of a “pass it to find out what’s in it” situation.

In a letter to OSHA, however, the National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB) stated their belief that Biden will be counting on small businesses to take a Big Brother “see something, say something” approach to enforcement by forcing independent business owners to serve as “the government’s instruments of coercion against its own employees.”

Joe Biden’s private-sector COVID vaccine mandate is only one of several components of the plan he announced in early September.

Meanwhile, nearly 40 percent of unvaccinated workers will leave their job if their employer tries to implement and enforce vaccine mandates or implement weekly testing for the virus, according to survey results from the Kaiser Family Foundation Covid-19 Vaccine Monitor.

You’d think that “conservative” Republicans would be rallying their followers in a massive rebellion against COVID tyranny and Biden’s vaccine mandates on private sector businesses, but you’d be wrong. Many with an “R” attached to their name have joined the far-left’s war against liberty and have embraced COVID tyranny to the point where faux conservatives like Margaret Hoover want to “make it impossible for people to live their lives” if they refuse to comply with vaccine mandates — especially veterans, the elderly, and others living on a fixed income:

“If you are going to get government-provided healthcare, if you’re getting VA treatment, Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, anything, and Social Security, obviously, isn’t healthcare, you should be getting the vaccine, OK, because you’re going to have to — we are going to have to take care of you on the back end.

“So there are a lot of things we can do without calling it a mandate but to just make it almost impossible for people to live their lives without being protected and protecting the rest of us.” (emphasis mine)

Of course, liberty isn’t what drives Joe Biden and the far-left, COVID tyranny is — a reality Anthony Fauci himself inadvertently admitted to in a recent interview on Face The Nation. Calling every American a “member of society,” Fauci said that “reaping the benefits of that society” requires making sacrifices for the greater good of society as a whole:

Joe Biden’s vaccine mandates for private sector businesses lead to one incontrovertible end: Government’s tyrannical rule over our every aspect of our lives:

• If you work for the government, you must comply with vaccine mandates.
• If you don’t work for the government but receive government benefits — benefits you paid for by the way — you must comply with vaccine mandates.
• If you run a private sector business, it’s only through the benevolence of the government, which means that if you want to stay in business, you will comply with and enforce vaccine mandates.

It’s an indisputable fact that COVID tyranny is the goal, and it’s the motivation behind everything Joe Biden, the far-left, and faux conservatives are doing.
