In today’s America, God has been relegated to a secondary (or lower) role. Mother Earth is one of the many deities worshiped by Nancy Pelosi, Democrats, and Republicans to explain global warming and fill the vacuum left by rejecting God.
Republicans have filled the vacuum with the Laodicean church’s belief that prosperity and a healthy economy (both good when kept in the proper perspective) is all we need to be a great nation. This misguided and destructive belief has been fully endorsed by today’s lukewarm, cheap grace evangelicals.
Led by the Fellowship of the Pharisees, we are witnessing the culmination of this paganist (i.e. polytheistic) theology in their worship of all-things-Trump; turning today’s church into something resembling the 1930s church that facilitated Hitler’s rise to power.
On the Democrat side of the equation, the party that tried to remove God from their platform in 2016 has it’s own substitutes for the the Creator and provider of our unalienable rights.
Who could ever forget when former-California Governor Jerry Brown — a former part-time Catholic, Zen, Buddhist — informed us about how Jesus would handle the illegal immigration problem. According to New Age theologian, building a border wall and deporting illegal aliens fails in the “treat the least of these as we treat the Lord” category of Christianity.
Another part-time Catholic paganist from the Left Coast is Democrat Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. During a round of debates on healthcare reform in 2017, Pelosi informed the world that Obamacare is God’s will, and that any healthcare bill defunding Planned Parenthood would “dishonor the God who made us.”
“I know my colleagues are people of faith. They tell us that all the time.
“So, this is God’s creation, we have a real responsibility to it…to minister to the needs of God’s creation is an act of worship. To ignore those needs is to dishonor the God who made us…”
Pelosi first introduced us to this Far-Left theology a few weeks prior to the Obamacare debates, when she used the same “dishonoring God” rhetoric in discussions about withdrawing from the Paris Climate Accord.
“The Bible tells us that to minister to the needs of God’s creation is an act of worship. To ignore those needs is to dishonor the God who made us and that is just what we are doing by walking away from this accord.”
Pelosi’s sermonettes succeeded in winning over a few converts. Trump and the GOP not only failed to repeal Obamacare, they provided Planned Parenthood record levels of taxpayer funds. In addition, Trump’s claim that we have withdrawn from the Paris Climate Accord is fake news. We’re still in it, and Trump and the GOP are working on ways to advance the global warming agenda.
Many assumed that Pelosi was speaking of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob — the God who sent His only begotten Son, Jesus, to earth as a man to, as C.S. Lewis once wrote, “enable men to become sons of God.”
But that’s not how this works. That’s not how any of this works. Put simply, Pelosi is the textbook definition of a polytheist, a person who believes in many gods and goddesses.
Pelosi defended one of her goddesses last week in an MSNBC interview with anchor Joy Ann Reid to explain the reason for the destructive hurricanes and wildfires plaguing the nation. Speaking as a prophetess (maybe that’s what the “P” in her name stands for) she warned America said these catastrophes were the result “Mother Earth’s anger” about climate change.

“We have these fires in California and in the West, sixteen people have died in Washington, Oregon, and California including a firefighter and a one-year old baby.
“We, our firefighters have been so very very courageous. Now again we’re breaking records.
“Mother Earth is angry, she’s telling us, whether she’s telling us with hurricanes on the Gulf Coast, fires in the West, whatever it is, that the climate crisis is real and has an impact.”
Worship of nature (Mother Earth) over nature’s God has been a part of Far-Left theology for decades, but the belief that “she” is a deity was given a boost in the 1970s when Prof. James Lovelock formulated “Gaia hypothesis.” According to the Aetherius Society, Mother Earth is a “living entity” that has gained a “foothold in the scientific community.”
One of the key tenets of Aetherius Society teachings is the belief that the Mother Earth is a living Goddess. This belief has been held by numerous cultures throughout history, and, in certain traditions, such as shamanism, is still regarded as central in terms of both philosophy and practice. In recent years the concept of the Earth as a living entity has even gained a controversial foothold in the scientific community, in the form of the “Gaia hypothesis” which was formulated by Prof. James Lovelock in the 1970s.
But Mother Earth is no ordinary deity. She carries all the attributes of God, including sacrificing her life for us. The Aetherius Society continues:
The Gods from space teach that the Earth is a conscious, living, breathing entity – with feelings and thoughts just like any other conscious living entity. She is extremely advanced, and more than qualifies for the title of “Goddess” due to her extraordinary wisdom, compassion and spiritual power.
She has quite literally sacrificed her own salvation so that we can live here. The beauty of the natural world around us is but a dim reflection of the unfathomable inner beauty of her great soul. To her it is a limiting veil enshrouding her colossal light – a veil which exists only to provide us with the physical conditions which, due to our low evolutionary status, we currently need in order to gain karmic experience.
Ironically, Pelosi’s status as a part-time Catholic might have something to do with her worship of Mother Earth. In 2015, Pope Francis issued a papal encyclical urging Catholics everywhere to take action to end global warming. Stressing the effects of global warming on the poor, Pope Francis said:
“I don’t know if (human activity) is the only cause, but mostly, in great part, it is man who has slapped nature in the face. We have in a sense taken over nature.”
There can be no debate that global warming has become a religion for environmental extremists, and now we know the name of the god (goddess) they worship.
More than that, however, Prophetess Pelosi wants us to know that Mother Earth is displeased, and we must bring the sacrifices of the Green New Deal and other global warming legislation to turn away the wrath of her god.
Can I get an Amen?
