New California law makes it easier to secretly exploit children sexually

California Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a bill into law last week that makes it easier to sexually exploit children in secret by forcing insurance companies to conceal from parents the medical services their children are receiving, including services involving abortion, puberty blockers, and cross-sex hormones.

It’s beyond dispute that the far-left has been promoting the sexual exploitation of children, which is why we’ve read stories over the years about how governments in America and around the world have passed laws limiting parental rights or worse — laws threatening to seize children from families that refuse to facilitate a child’s decision to have an abortion or chose a new “gender identity” or “gender expression.”

California has long been a “leader” when it comes to the making it easier to sexually exploit children. From laws mandating unlimited access to abortion services to laws advancing the LGBT agenda, the Golden State never runs out of finding new ways to feed its deviant desires.

Newsom’s signature on this new law is a perfect way to continue this tradition (via Christian Headlines):

California Gov. Gavin Newsom on Wednesday signed a bill into law that critics say forces insurance companies to conceal from parents the medical services their children are receiving, including when it involves such controversial ones as abortion, puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones.

The new law, AB 1184, prohibits insurance companies from requiring minors to receive authorization from the policy-holding parents for “sensitive services.” The law defines “sensitive” services as “mental or behavioral health, sexual and reproductive health, sexually transmitted infections, substance use disorder, gender-affirming care, and intimate partner violence.” The phrase “gender-affirming” care includes gender-transition treatments for transgenderism.

Further, the law requires the insurance company to “direct all communications” about the service to the child and prohibits the company from disclosing the information to the parents unless the child allows it.

The new law passed the Assembly, 61-14, and the Senate, 29-8.

Newsom called the bill vital to the “privacy rights of people receiving sensitive health care services.” But according to California Family Council President Jonathan Keller, the real issue has nothing to do with privacy rights, and everything to do with infringing on parental rights.

“How can moms and dads protect their children if insurance companies deliberately keep them in the dark? Parents are responsible for the health and safety of their sons and daughters.

“Even the best-intentioned medical providers cannot replace the role of mothers and fathers. California should not force doctors to hide the truth about irreversible medical procedures like abortion and sterilizing hormone treatments.”

It isn’t without a bit of irony that Newsom is ready to “protect” medical privacy to make it easier for California to sexually exploit children while simultaneously disregarding medical privacy when it comes to COVID vaccine mandates and the privacy rights of gun owners.

The Michigan State Board of Education released a document a few years back that required the state’s schools to allow students, without parental or doctoral input, to choose their gender, name, pronouns, bathrooms, and locker rooms, and prohibited teachers from mentioning it to parents without the child’s consent.

In response to policies like this, the American College of Pediatricians (ACP) joined the debate between concerned parents and the school teachers, administrators, legislators, and transsexual advocates who continue to push the trans agenda in grade-schools, city governments, state governments, and the federal government.

ACP issued a statement detailing how indoctrinating children into the growing transgender movement was child abuse. Calling it, at best, a sign of “confused thinking” and not “genetic markers of a [biological] disorder,” they concluded: “Conditioning children into believing a lifetime of chemical and surgical impersonation of the opposite sex is normal and healthful is child abuse.” (emphasis mine)

While this latest assault by the far-left on our children comes to us courtesy of Gavin Newsom and the state of California, laws making it easier to sexually exploit children are sweeping the country and have reached Washington.

Joe Biden and his cohorts on Capitol Hill are currently working on legislation to codify Roe v. Wade, and the self-proclaimed Catholic occupying the White House has issued several executive orders promoting the sexual abuse of children in the name of advancing the LGBT agenda.

By the way, Planned Parenthood — the agency that celebrated a new baby-killing record in 2019-2020 thanks to Trump and the Republican Party’s broken promise to defund them — expanded their menu of services a few years ago. In addition to providing services that end an unborn life before it begins, the so-called women’s healthcare provider started offering hormone “sex-change” treatment FOR MINORS to be paid for through Medicaid.
