It was only a few days ago that I wrote about a plan by the United Nations to put America under UN control as a means of enforcing a planet-wide plan to end global warming. In the proposal, French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius stated that the United Nations and its member regimes must sidestep the Constitution and the U.S. Congress in order to save the world from global warming:
“We know the politics in the United States. Whether we like it or not, if it comes to the (U.S.) Congress, they will refuse.”
“We must find a formula which is valuable for everybody and valuable for the U.S. without going to the Congress.”
He concluded that the emerging agreement, set to be finalized in Paris later this year, must be imposed on the United States by the Obama administration and the UN. (emphasis mine)
In that commentary, I raised the possibility that Obama might use the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade agreement as the mechanism to reach this goal. Needless to say, the Obamatrons accused me of “tinfoil hat” thinking.
But in an interview this past week with National Public Radio, Obama stated that one of the many new powers he will have at his disposal under the agreement will be the ability to address climate change:
“If we want to solve something like climate change, which is one of my highest priorities, then I’ve got to be able to get into places like Malaysia, and say to the, this is in your interest. What leverage do I have to get them to stop deforestation? Well part of the leverage is if I’m in a trade relationship with them that allows me to raise standards.”
One of his highest priorities? I guess that explains his total ineptitude when it comes to fighting ISIS. And is it just me, or is the Narcissist-in-Chief sounding more and more like a man who really does believe he’s the king of the world?
He also indicated on his Twitter account that the ability to address climate change will be a part of TPP. In response to a question about the lack of strict environmental regulations to stop global warming, Obama tweeted back: “In fact new trade deal with [sic] have the strongest enforceable environmental provisions in history.”
While this “revelation” on how Obama intends to use the trade agreement isn’t likely to be reported by MSNBC, even the official propaganda publication of the White House, the New York Times, reported that the administration will seek to go around Congress by signing a United Nations International climate accord in 2015 that would commit the United States to Obama’s climate change policy goals. The climate change summit is set to take place later this year.
Unfortunately for Constitution-loving Americans, the RINO establishment in Washington helped pass the TPP under the misguided notion that it will boost the economy, despite the fact that it will do the exact opposite. According to a study released last fall by the Heritage Foundation, new environmental regulations already announced by the EPA addressing climate change will reduce America’s GDP by $2.5 trillion by 2030. We can only imagine how much more damage will be done under the TPP.
Maybe Mitch McConnell and the Washington establishment RINO Republicans should stop making decisions based on their plans for the 2016 elections, and start doing the job they were elected to do. If they don’t, the way things are going, they won’t have an election in 2016 to worry about.
