If you’re wondering what these four things have in common, bear with me.
Obamacare has been bad news from the first day it became law, but it’s about to get much worse following Obama’s executive order on guns. Under Obama’s new rules, doctors will now report people deemed “mentally ill” to the FBI in order to deny them their constitutional right to own a gun.
What’s wrong with that you ask? And what does that have to do with global warming or Paul Ryan? Let’s take a look at the official White House fact sheet on the new regulations to get an idea:
“Current law prohibits individuals from buying a gun if, because of a mental health issue, they are either a danger to themselves or others or are unable to manage their own affairs.”
Now, you’ve probably heard Obama claim that climate change is a greater threat than terrorism. If that’s true, then you could assume that people who deny the faux science concerning global warming are a danger to themselves or others; the very definition of someone who has a mental health issue — according to the White House.
Before you begin thinking that I’m overstating the situation, it’s important to remember that efforts to define global warming skeptics as mentally ill has already been attempted by those on the left.
Oregon professor of “sociology and environmental studies,” Kari Norgaard, has declared climate skepticism a mental illness that must be “treated.”
Psychology Today published an article listing three warning signs that you are in “climate change denial.” Find yourself with one of these “symptoms” and you’re suffering from mental issues:
1. You think climate change is bad, but not that bad.
2. You don’t have an emotional reaction to climate change.
3. You aren’t getting political.
The UK Telegraph did a piece a few years ago entitled “Climate ‘denial’ is now a mental disorder.” In it, they reported how so-called “Eco-psychologists” convened at the University of the West of England in Bristol to explore classifying “climate change denial” as a “mental disorder.”
And let’s not forget that Obama’s EPA Chief Gina McCarthy declared that climate skeptics aren’t “normal” people.
And all of this brings us to Paul Ryan. I took a lot of heat from my readers who didn’t agree with my conclusions in a previous article about the spineless-wonder and his likely inaction concerning Obama’s unconstitutional directive concerning guns. Well, it turns out I was right again.
In an interview on FOX News yesterday, Ryan shared how his office is refusing to get involved, calling Obama’s actions nothing more than “a distraction.”
“We will look at all our options, but we will not take this distraction for more than what it is — a distraction.”
So, if you’re someone who doesn’t believe in global warming, it would probably be a good idea to avoid discussing the topic with your Obamacare physician. You could end up surrendering your Second Amendment rights because of your so-called mental illness.
