Well, as many predicted, Rep. John Boehner (R-INO OH) was re-elected as Speaker of the House, but it wasn’t without a fight. Twenty-five brave patriots stood up to the Washington Republican machine to say NO to business as usual. Unfortunately, they were vastly outnumbered by the cowards masquerading as Conservatives.
In my home district in Colorado, Rep. Ken Buck—who was elected Republican Freshman Class President back in November—was all ready to add his name to the spineless brigade. In an interview on the Amy Oliver show on 1310KFKA, Buck was all too eager to explain his vote for Boehner to guest host Nancy Rumfeld. He said quite a bit, so let me summarize his lame attempt to justify his actions…
HE’S A LIAR!
Candidate Ken Buck made several promises to change America’s destiny in several areas: immigration, energy, and healthcare to name a few. Yet, when presented with the opportunity to begin keeping those promises, he chose to stick with the party’s power brokers and maintain the status quo by voting for the man who bragged about how he joined forces with Obama to pass a budget that fully funded the government for the next year, and by default, Obama’s Constitution-killing agenda.
Ken Buck ran as a conservative, but he has already begun his metamorphoses on his way to becoming an inside-the-beltway Republican. Well done, Judas! I hope you enjoy the cushy committee assignments Boehner is about to send your way for being a good soldier. Maybe he’ll give one of those new openings that just popped up after he “rewarded” some of his fellow Republicans who dared to vote against him.
In the interview I mentioned above, Nancy Rumfelt defended Buck’s vacillating by stating that sometimes, “the devil you know is better than the devil you don’t know.” What a fitting analogy. Because under Boehner’s leadership, along with the support of spineless cowards like Ken Buck, America is becoming a living Hell.
If you would, please notify the names below to thank them for standing up for Conservative values. If possible, send them financial support. I have a feeling that Boehner is going to make them pay for opposing him.
