As she led the ceremony removing the Confederate flag from the grounds of the South Carolina state capitol—the same flag she defended during her re-election in 2014—one time conservative and now a puppet of the politically correct, Governor Nikki Haley, proclaimed: “It is a new day in South Carolina, a day we can all be proud of, a day that truly brings us all together as we continue to heal, as one people and one state.”
The flag was removed after being convicted without a trial as an accessory to the murder of nine parishioners by a crazy man. It has been sentenced to life in solitary confinement at the Confederate Relic room so as not to ever murder again.
As you can probably tell, I’m not too impressed with this latest effort by liberal-elitists to rewrite history in the image of the politically correct Left at the expense of the Constitution. And I’m not alone in that assessment.
Keven Jackson, a rising voice in the conservative movement and a man who is “sworn to set the record straight on the destruction by Democrats to the black community,” debated the issue on FOX News as he called out the Left for using the shooting of nine people in a church to get rid of a Southern icon. Calling it “textbook Liberalism,” Jackson called anyone who allowed this to happen “a moron.” He also point out, quite convincingly, that if we attempt to eliminate the history of everything the Left finds disturbing, we need to start with the eradication of the history of the Democratic Party.
Alan B. West went further, calling it “the closing (of) a chapter on something most fundamental and dear to our great nation: state’s rights, as enumerated in the 10th Amendment of our Constitution.” His sentiment wasn’t without evidence, as he documented on his website with these tweets from the Twitter account of a former Obama DHS advisor:
Today is a new day in the South. Gone will be the Confederacy as we create the New South. Federalism & individual rights, no states' rights.

The @POTUS is 100% correct here. The entire South, not just SC, will never be the same again. #AllahuAkbar #GodBless https://t.co/uc00kwmetf

Elibiary was an Obama appointee who worked with the Department of Homeland Security until he was sent packing after his connections with the Muslim Brotherhood led to his declaration on his twitter account that “the return of Sharia law was inevitable.”
According to Elibiary, South Carolina wasn’t about an “offensive” symbol; it was about expanding federal control. And when you consider that this is a man who advocates for Sharia Law in America, could it be that his praise of this event is providing a little momentum for that goal to become a reality? Could that be behind his Allahu-Akbar hashtag?
In a time when public schools are more concerned about providing birth control devices to 11-year-olds and sex-change operations to high-schoolers without parental consent, it shouldn’t really be all that surprising that we have so many who are ignorant of the 10th Amendment’s power to protect us from an out-of-control federal government.
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”
Constitution 101, folks, but since when has our race-baiting, Muslim-appeasing, transforming America President cared about that pesky document?
Of course, this is just the beginning, as cities and states across America begin renaming parks, buildings, and other government properties in an effort to remove anything offensive to the politically-correct. A few examples so far include:
- Mississippi will move to remove the Confederate flag image from the state flag
- Virginia will remove the flag’s image from state-issued license plates for “Sons of Confederate Veterans”
- Memphis, TN city council voted to remove the remains of Confederate lieutenant-general Nathan Bedford Forrest from his current resting place under a statue in the city.
The Supreme Court ruled against the Sons of Confederate Soldiers’ request to have the symbol of their group, which includes the image of the Confederate flag, in a 5-4 decision. Of course, ruling against constitutional rights is nothing new for the Supremes these days as we have seen with Obamacare (twice) and same-sex marriage.
Even Congress is getting into the act, with congressional Democrats issuing a resolution demanding the removal of the Confederate flag from all federal properties, including cemeteries where soldiers who died in the Civil War are buried; a move that prompted John Boehner, in his best politically-correct voice, to call for an “adult discussion” on the issue. I guess that means he won’t be attending that one.
Based on his track record of capitulation to the left on absolutely every single solitary thing, while punishing Republicans who don’t join in his cowardice, what Boehner is really saying is that he will vote with the Democrats after this cools off. In other words, he’ll join the anti-Constitution crowd.
The Constitution is under assault as never before, and those who are leading the attack are winning!
