We now return to creating a socialist utopia in America by 2020

Well, 2019 has begun, and with the change in the calendar comes a change in Washington as the Democrats prepare to flex their new-found muscles after handing Trump and the GOP the worst midterm defeat since Watergate.

Thanks to two years of ineptitude, the Far-Left agenda is owned by the GOP. And thanks to the elections of Kevin McCarthy and Mitch McConnell as leaders of the party, they will continue helping Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi advance that agenda.

From gun control to global warming, Pelosi has laid out an unsurprising but aggressive laundry list of pet projects that will also advance the cause of Democratic socialism.

So, it should come as no surprise that one of the leftest of the Far-Left, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA), just announced that she will use her new power as chair of the House Financial Services Committee to create laws that would give the government power to force corporations to hire women and minorities in the name of so-called “diversity.”

While Democrats have become experts at using protected classes as pawns in their game of socialist chess, their plans go far beyond simple fairness. Democrats want to wipe out capitalism to create a Democratic Socialist utopia, bringing us closer to becoming the United Socialist States of America.

In her new year’s eve announcement that she is preparing to make a 2020 presidential run, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) said, “Every person in America should be able to work hard, play by the same set of rules, and take care of themselves and the people they love.”

Sounds harmless. Almost capitalistic. Until you take a closer look at her pro-government/anti-free market track record.

For example, a few months ago, Warren introduced the a bill that would result in the largest government seizure of private property in human history. The Accountable Capitalism Act would place every business earning over $1 billion in revenue under total government control, giving it power to dictate board memberships, compensation practices, and personnel policies.

Sounds like a perfect complement to Waters’ plan, doesn’t it?

It’s become a form of entertainment for Trump, his cult, and the so-called conservative media to belittle and ridicule Warren and the socialist agenda of the Democrat party. They should remember that Bernie Sanders nearly beat Hillary in 2016 by running on a socialist agenda, and that socialism is supported by a majority of millennials — a demographic the GOP is losing bigly.

Many of Trump’s economic policies are identical to Bernie’s, and we should remember that Ivanka controls the agenda when it comes to pet projects popular with the Far-Left. Daddy’s Precious has already advanced paid family leave and other policies supported by Hillary Clinton, and she’s currently working on an initiative aimed at women’s global economic empowerment.

The next two years look to be a boon for lovers of socialism, and could usher in the dystopian America Ayn Rand wrote about in her book, Atlas Shrugged.
